He blacktopping of the Patan-Pancheshwor track road has started three decades after the track was opened up.The construction work itself had started in 2043 BS from Patan Bazaar and now a 47 km track road has opened up. Road Division Office engineer, Ashish Rijal, said four kilometres of road have been blacktopped until now.”The proposed road is 64 km in length out of which 12 km track will be opened up during this fiscal year while a contract agreement has been reached for blacktopping 13 km stretch of the road,” he said.
The road construction started three decades ago, but only two years ago did the central authorities allocate budget. The Patan – Pancheswor road will link the locals of 13 VDCs in Tallosorang to the district headquarters.
